Hi ohana, I am Marlene Coan Bermoy. I am the webmaster and so I'm testing this blog. I am Mileka's grand-daughter, Thelma is my mom. I live in southern CA, have been happily married for 26 years to Alex Bermoy (a Maui boy who I met up here in college) and have two wonderful sons, Brandon (25) and Micah (22). I was missing my mom who passed away 2 years ago and so, I was googling her name and found Charles' website. We met last year on Oahu and he helped me make the connection and I somehow don't feel like mom is so far away anymore. I hope this reunion and Charles' site can do the same for you.
Aloha kaua... Well, Marlene, the Family Reunion Website looks great! I to was motivated to search for family but unfortunately there was not a website on the internet for me to access at that time. I was forced to seek family using the tried and true old fashion method; I had to go visit them! Hopefully the websites will facilitate others in keeping "virtually" connected to family.

First, thank you to Marlene for this beautiful website, and to Charles, who visited with many of us and started the reconnection fires burning brightly for the many Kaaimoku and extended family members. I've been talking reunion for years now, and it's finally going to happen!! July 11,12,13, 2008 on Maui. My name is Rob Lee, and I am the grandson of Momi Jacobs. My mother is Momi's daughter, Elaine. I currently live in Kahalu'u and have been residing here (Kaneohe/Kahalu'u) since 1970. My mom passed away in Sept 1997, about 4 years after my grandmother Momi. I have an older sister (Lorraine) who currently lives in California (El Dorado Hills) and my younger brother (Manley) passed away in Feb 2004. To this day, I still fly to Maui and drive out to Hana every April to put flowers and leis on my Grandmother's place of rest, I haven't missed a year since her passing. I found this website while I was doing some research on my grandmother, what an awesome feeling to find this, and to discover that there will be a reunion this summer. I would really love to come, I am not certain of where the reunion is being held. Can someone share that information with me. I am currently employed with the Hawaii Air National Guard, based out of Hickam AFB. I served in the Active Air Force for eight years until transferring to the Hawaii Air National Guard, this year makes 28 years.
Anyway, enough about me, I would love to hear from some of the folks. I loved my grandmother so much, I spent part of my summer after I graduated from High School with her in Alhambra, California.
I am very thankful for finding this website and excited to hear from folks. Take care, please write when possible.

My name is Ola and I'm the daughter of Jose Echiberi. My grandma is Emma.I'm happy to see that there's a website the gives us information about our family roots. I hope to come across alot of my relatives that I haven't met yet.
