First Update of the Year......(Kinda Late I know)

Haven't updated the website in a while. I've had a "fun" past few months to say the least. Anyways, I am back and will start updating this page more often. So now on to orders of business.....

-New pictures in the Gallery of Alex and Marlene's 25th anniversary will be posted soon.

-If anyone has a picture phone and would like the ability to email those pictures directly to the website, email me at webmaster@thecoans.com and I will help you set this up.

-Visit some of the new links on the right. One of note, probably should have done this sooner, is Zack Coan's website. His site address is http://www.zackandnatalie.info/ He updates it regularly and contributes to this site on a regular basis. So check out his site and let him know you stopped by! You can also check out my site, brandon.bermoy.com, and see some of the latest information about me.....the webmaster guy. You can check out my gig dates with my blues band, Blues Chill, check where else I'm playing with The Mauer Project, and also get some cool tech news under the Digg Stories section. This section has some cool information that I think is interesting.....definitely worth checking out......even has information about a Star Wars Episode 3 spoiler...:) There are also some pictures of when Vice President Dick Cheney visited my work......love him or hate him, its very cool to see how the Secret Service handles his security......way cool!

-Watch for pictures of this weekend. We will be celebrating Zack's Birthday......

-Happy Birthday Zack!

Again, thanks for everyone who has visited my site and dropped me a line, I appreciate it. Watch this site for more updates as I will be able to spend more time adding things.

Mission 150:6

The Bermoy part of the Coans.com (Alex, Marlene, Brandon, Micah and Jennifer) are out in the fields at the Field Medical School, Camp Pendleton, CA doing what they live for, worshipping Jesus!! At the invitation of our new Chaplain, Jaisen Fuson, we loaded two trucks with equipment and worshippers and headed to the hills. We met Dave Townsend with John and Darryl (part of the Navigators) and had part of our worship team: Melody Palmore, Ryan Andrews, Ruth Santiago and her sons Juan and Carlos. You guys are awesome…they pay a huge price to be cold, muddy and uncomfortable schlepping heavy equipment in the dark, loading and unloading trucks and practicing for hours and hours. But, we are rewarded far beyond anything imagined by the sound of God’s people worshipping and crying out for Him.

What a radical night. I don’t think even our families know what we actually do. We are Mission 150:6, a non-profit corporation that provides support for ministries. Our name is based on Psalms 150:6 “let everything that has breath praise the Lord”. We played at church on Sunday and Dad reminded us how it was Mom who planted a love for God and the ability to play and sing in us. This past Sunday was the first time we played at South Mesa since mom went to heaven. It was hard, we missed her not being there dancing, singing and tapping her feet to the music. But she told me to never stop 'pushing those buttons' (the keys on the keyboard) because it was then that we could be up there with her. (in the presence of God)

So take a look at the videos Brandon captured. It was an awesome night! We drove in to the school just as the sun was setting. Here, we saw platoons of men and women in fatigues, some wet, muddy, some limping...all weary from the rigorous training. At the end, one student talked with us and with tears streaming down his face he thanked us, saying how he was so angry and 'at his end' and how God changed him during the service. Pray for these service men and women and their families. They are paying the ultimate price for all of us.

More New Pictures

Check out the gallery for even more pictures. The new gallery is by far the most popular thing on the site. So I know people will enjoy seeing different pictures throughout the whole family. Please let me know via email if you want to post any of your digital camera pictures and we'll work on getting them up to the site for all to see.

Thanks,
Brandon

Photo Gallery

The Photo Gallery has been added. I will add pictures as people send them to me. I would like to use the FTP server as a place for people to upload pictures. So if you want to send pictures to me, email me and I will put the instructions for the FTP server up again.

The only group of pictures we have up were from the Lake Mead Trip that we took Grandpa Coan on. It was a lot of fun, even though we had some problems along the way. I will have my mom post the whole story later. Enjoy the pictures, Jen took most of them and I must say that some of them turned out very good. Let us know what you think in the forums!

Also, we will be getting some pictures of the new baby from Uncle Fred. Hopefully soon. When I get them, I will post them as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Brandon
